Dutch driver kills three in New Zealand crash

A Dutch man on holiday in New Zealand caused a traffic accident, killing three people. The man has been accused of reckless driving, according to Radio New Zealand News. The Dutch man (52) crashed into a woman (49) and two girls aged 12 near the town of Rakala, on the Southern island of New Zealand on Saturday. According to the police, the driver ignored a red light at a crossing. He then crashed into another car, in which a family from Christchurch were driving with a young friend. The driver of the car, a man (48), was heavily injured. The Dutch man himself was only lightly injured.
