Police bust five illegal cabs

A special control in Eindhoven on Saturday night has busted five illegal taxi's transporting people. The Traffic Maintenance Team conducted this control together with people of the Environment and Transport Inspection. The control was especially targeted to this illegal and dangerous form of transporting people. Between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., there was patrolling. Five taxi's were caught when they transported people from the train station in Eindhoven. The drivers were apprehended, their ages between 20 and 40 years. One taxi was being ran by two men. These men, if this is their first time, will have to pay a fine of €4300. If they are caught a second time, this fine could become €10,000. These kinds of controls are going to become more frequent.
