Fake cop robs Polish men

Two Polish men, a father and son, were robbed Tuesday morning, by a man posing as a police officer. The robbery took place on the Landscheiding in Vuren. The victims were looking to purchase a truck from a company in Vuren, but decided to also check out another dealer as well. On their way over they were summoned by two men in a black Mercedes to follow them. On the Landscheiding the cars stopped and the passenger of the Mercedes approached the victims. The suspect pretended to be a police officer, showing some kind of badge. He addressed the victims, first in English, then in German, asking if they had any drugs or money and to show him what they had. When one of the Polish men handed over the money, the fake police officer ran back to the Mercedes, who had turned around by that time, and they took off in the opposite direction. The victims didn't get a good look at the license plate, but think it may contain the combination 45-NT-?? The fake police officer is described as a white male, approximately 1,85m in height, normal posture, 30-35 years of age. He was wearing jeans, a brown coat, and a brown baseball cap. The driver of a silver-colored car wasn't able to pass the cars and had to wait. He may have seen what transpired and is asked to contact the police. Other witnesses who may have information leading to the arrest of these men are also invited to call 0900-8844, or 0800-7000 (anonymous).
