Explosion ruins Indian Restaurant, Amsterdam

Residents in the Van Woustraat in Amsterdam were jolted out of their beds by an explosion in a restaurant. The devastating blast plunged the Diya Indian Restaurant into ruin. At around 2:45 am, the neighborhood was woken by a loud bang. All the windows in the restaurant shattered, but nobody was injured, and there was no fire. How the explosion exactly happened, nobody knows yet. According to witnesses, a projectile was thrown into the building. The police has executed an investigation in the restaurant last night. There are apartments above the restaurant, but it is not yet clear if these are damaged.
