Samsung opening stores in the Netherlands

Mobile telecommunications giant Samsung is opening a chain of stores in the Netherlands.

Headquarters in the UK report that the South Korean firm is redesigning The Phone House stores; the stores will remain property of The Phone House, but the Samsung Experience Stores will only sell Samsung's full range of mobiles, tablet computers, laptops and TV's. Personnel will remain on The Phone House payroll. The Samsung Experience Stores are expected to be rolled out over the next three months, but it is not clear as yet when and where exactly the first will open. The move is a continuation of Samsung’s head-to-head rivalry with Apple. The firm is opening 60 stores in seven markets including the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Sweden. The group already has Samsung Experience stores in the US as concessions within consumer electronics giant Best Buy.
