Gas pipeline construction continues under Schiphol runway

Dutch gas company Gasunie is working on a gas pipeline project under the new Polderbaan runway at Schiphol airport. Gerben van Dijk of Gasunie said that air traffic will not disturb with the company’s operations and there is no danger to passengers. The Polderbaan runway was completed last year, and has been operational since November.
