Hybrid electric cars sale rises
In recent months, sales of electric cars have increased sharply, according to figures from the RAI.

This year, nearly 18,000 plug-in hybrids have been sold so far, compared to 5,100 in 2012, Nos reports citing RAI.
The increase is mainly attributed to changes in the tax liability for electric company cars. Electric cars purchased in 2013 will have zero tax for the next five years. In 2014, electric cars will be taxed at 4% and plug-in hybrids at 7%.
The Mitsubishi Outlander is the most popular electric car in 2013.
