Dutch Economy up 0.2% for Q3
Revised figures show the Dutch economy grew by 0.2 percent in the third quarter of 2013, a marked improvement on the 0.4 percent reduction a year earlier, according to the CBS. The growth estimate is measured against the second quarter of the year.
Those with jobs still dropped by 0.6 percent against the second quarter, a net loss of 47,000 jobs. The CBS says that there are 160,000 more without jobs now than in the third quarter of 2012, totaling a 2.0 percent drop.
The CBS also says that wages increased by an average of 1.9 percent compared to Q3 2012.
