Finding student accommodation in Netherlands

The Netherlands is an attractive place for international students, but the shortage of suitable rooms and rental apartments is becoming a huge problem, Eurogates reports. In 2013, the total shortage of rooms was about 32.000 student rooms, the website said. Due to these policies, several investors and corporations are not interested in investing in new housing projects, Eurogates said. According to Eurogates, students can search rooms by exploring different websites. Dutch online portal Kamers a good option to start search for a room. Also, joining a fraternity is another way to find rooms.
