Playtech to supply online gambling software to Holland Casino

Dutch gambling monopoly Holland Casino has signed a contract with Playtech to supply online casino software ahead of the regulation of online gambling in the Netherlands, iGaming Business reports. Online Casino / Wikipedia Under the contract, Playtech will develop an online platform for Holland Casino, which will include roulette, blackjack, slot machines, poker and bingo. “We will soon offer our players a unique gaming environment and experience,” Holland Casino’s interim chief executive officer (CEO) Willem-Jan van den Dijssel said. “Coupled with the expertise of Playtech, we look forward with confidence to the forthcoming regulation of the market.” Currently, the Netherlands is working on a law to regulate online gambling. The first proposal expected in the first half of 2014, while the first licences are likely to be awarded by 2015.
