Seedorf Unveils FIFA World Cup Official Ball
The 2014 FIFA World Cup Official Match Ball, Brazuca, was unveiled at a ceremony Tuesday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Dutch footballer Clarence Seedorf along with former Brazilian star Cafe and Hernanes presented the official ball at the Parque Lage in the Brazilian city, The Associated Press reports. The Brazuca ball was launched after a two-and-half-year testing process involving some of the world’s biggest stars, including Lionel Messi and Iker Casillas, according to The Telegraph. It was manufactured by Adidas. The ball’s six identical panels, alongside a new surface structure will “improved grip, touch, stability and aerodynamic,” according to the company. The ball goes on sale on Wednesday at around €120.
