New Online Banking Security Rules in Netherlands

Dutch Banking Association, NVB, has signed an agreement with the Consumers Union on new rules aimed at increasing security for users of online banking, Telecom Paper reports. ABN Amro Internet Banking Under the new rules, customers who fall victim to phishing will need to meet five security requirements in order to qualify for compensation from their banks, starting from 2014, the paper said.
