Vion Not Involved in Better Life-Meat Fraud

Investigators found no evidence that meat supplier Vion has been selling the factory-farmed daily meat with a better life label, Nos reports. In a TV show on September 5, two anonymous Vion employees accused the company of selling wrongly labeled meat. "Meat with the 'better life' attribute must meet animal welfare requirements of the Animal drafted. This meat is more expensive than meat from factory farming," according to the news report.
