Flickr According to the municipality it's not yet clear who is behind the threat and from which location the photos and text messages were sent. Because they were placed on the American social network Instagram, only the United States can retrieve the IP address of the computer that was used to commit the crime, and that takes time. The primary school De Wissel, still applies heightened security measures. The group 8b received new death threats this past week. The school doors and gates remain closed whenever possible. Before and after school officers patrol at the entrance, and Thursday all students had to stay in, reported a spokesperson for the municipality of Vlissingen Friday. The in-and outflow of people is limited, by keeping all students in for their lunch break. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons the students are off anyway, and the Fall break starts on Friday. Whether the extra security measures will still apply after the break will be decided at that time or if the police investigation renders results. The threats and shocking photos were sent to at least twenty 8th graders. Students who would be targeted were mentioned by name.
