Arctic Sunrise approaching Moermansk

The Greenpeace ship Arctic Sunrise, sailing under Dutch flag, is expected to arrive in the Russian Moermansk on Tuesday. This is reported by Greenpeace and the Russian press Interfax.The Russian coastguard boarded the ship on Thursday. The Russians used violence when they took over the ship, according to Greenpeace. The activists were protesting against Russian oil drilling in the Arctic. The crew of 30 are detained in the mess hall aboard the ship. Greenpeace'_Arctic_Sunrise

Wikimedia commons A senior Kremlin official said this weekend the Greenpeace activists behaved like Somali pirates. So far no official charges have been filed against the activists. The Arctic Sunrise sails under the Dutch flag. Prime Minister Rutte has asked Russia for clarification of the activities of the Coast Guard.
