Bus drives from slope
Three people were injured after a bus from transit company Connexxion collided with a car and slid down an embankment on Wednesday morning. The accident happened on Schermerweg, close to Alkmaar.
Three were injured after a Connexxion bus collided with a car near Alkmaar (Michel / Twitter)A police spokesperson said that six people were involved in the accident, three of which were transported to hospital. Two were occupants from the car and the third is the bus driver. The three passengers on the bus remained unharmed. The Heerhugowaard-bound bus hit the car at about 10:30am. A cause has not yet been determined, and the N242 remained closed as police conducted their investigation.
