Mayor Carla Breuer of the municipality of Teylingen implemented an assembly ban for the area around the municipal harbor in the village of Warmond, the recreational island Koudenhoorn and the waters around it. This follows an explosion on a houseboat in the harbor on Sunday and several incidents of vandalism in the area over the past months, Omroep West reports.

Six young people were arrested for multiple incidents of vandalism and arson in the Zuid-Holland town of Noordwijk this past summer. A total of 60 police officers took them out of their beds in Noordwijk, Voorhout and Leiden at 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning, the police said in a statement. 

The suspects are between the ages of 16 and 23. Five of them were arrested on suspicion of arson and vandalism, the sixth for complicity thereto. Two are also suspected of drug dealing.

The police arrested 11 people in Veenendaal for disrupting public order. The arrests were made at the end of Lampegietersavond - a regional holiday that signals the start of autumn, NOS reports.

Dozens of young people committed vandalism and poured flammable liquid over bushes during the celebrations. To make sure the bushes aren't set alight, the fire department doused them with water. Dangerous fireworks were also thrown and a number of young people are suspected of drug possession.

Saturday night was a "grim night" in Rotterdam, the Rotterdam police said on Twitter. A total of 12 people were arrested for various offenses on Saturday night and during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Arrests were made for public intoxication, vandalism and assault, among other things.

"Three people were so annoying" that police officers had to use pepper spray on them to get them under control.

On Wednesday the police arrested a man from Tilburg suspected of putting rat poison in his neighbor's kiddie pool. He did so because the sounds of the playing children annoyed him, a community police officer wrote on Instagram.

The man lives in the Reeshof district and was arrested in his home. He will appear in court at a later date. 

According to Omroep Brabant, the man is suspected of aggravated assault or attempts thereto and vandalism.

Swastikas were spray-painted on the outside wall of the Jewish cemetery on Zeeburg in Amsterdam on Saturday. A suspect was arrested a short time later. In the interest of the investigation, the police will not say anything about the suspect or the arrest, Het Parool reports.

The swastikas were painted on the cemetery's outside wall, near Flevopark. The graffiti was removed from the wall immediately after being discovered.

The Jewish cemetery is the largest in the Netherlands, with over 100 thousand people buried there, according to the newspaper.

Swastikas were spray painted on the Jewish Monument at the Hoogezand-Sappermeer station during the early hours of Sunday morning. The police are investigating and call on witnesses to come forward, NOS reports.

A 12-year-old pupil of Boschveld childcare center in Den Bosch was seriously hurt on Thursday when the swing she was using broke. The girl sustained two tears to her pelvis. Investigation revealed that someone vandalized the swing. The municipality of Den Bosch reported the incident to the police, a spokesperson confirmed to newspaper AD.

Mayor Pauline Krikke of The Hague is arranging extra security for the Hindu temple in Schilderswijk after the temple was vandalized for the second time in a week.The windows of the temple were broken on Tuesday night. The same thing happened last week, NOS reports.

"I have expressed my support", the Mayor said to the broadcaster. "This vandalism has to stop. I also had extensive consultations with the police and gave the order to place camera surveillance at the temple as quickly as possible. I hope that this will help to bring back calm and restore public order."

Debate center De Rode Hoed on Keizergracht in Amsterdam was vandalized overnight. The center's windows were broken and statements like 'Fuck FvD' and 'No fascism' were spray painted on its facade. On Friday evening populist party FvD is holding a lecture about the Brexit at De Rode Hoed, AT5 reports.

The police are investigating the vandalism.

The Anne Frank tree in the Wandelpark in Waalwijk was vandalized for the third time this month. Over the weekend unknown unknown perpetrators twice snapped the trunk of the tree. Local residents believe this is a targeted action, Omroep Brabant reports.

"This is an attack on Waalwijk society", Theo van Bracht, chairman of foundation Wandelpark, said to the broadcaster. "It can be called disgusting to say the least."

A large swastika and a German flag were found spray painted on a windmill next to the A6 highway, between Emmeloord and Lelystad, on Sunday morning. The authorities believe the vandalism happened very recently, though who the perpetrators are is unclear, De Stentor reports.

A police spokesperson told the newspaper that they are investigating the case and have informed the owner of the windmill, energy company Innogy. "We certainly take this seriously."

A father turned in his 15-year-old son to the police after recognizing him in surveillance camera footage the police released of a teen stealing the emblems of 20 cars in Tilburg. The footage was shown on Bureau Brabant on Monday, Omroep Brabant reports.

The boy is suspected of stealing the emblems off at least 20 cars in the Reeshof district, badly damaging the cars in the process. The young thief regretted his actions later, and anonymously returned the emblems - with an apology note.

The tires of some sixty cars were punctured in Hengelo in Overijssel on Wednesday morning. The police are looking for the perpetrator, ANP reports.

On Wednesday morning a victim called the police and reported that someone cut the tires of his and his neighbor's cars. Other victims started calling the police soon thereafter.

The perpetrator punctured the tires of some 60 cars in the area around Creative Fabriek, on Geraniumstraat, Begoniastraat, Resedastraat and Salviastraat.

The police expect that there are more victims who haven't noticed their flat tires yet.

Three people were arrested in the asylum center in Weert on Monday evening on suspicion of violence and vandalism. Initial reports stated that a man was threatening others with a firearm, but the police emphasize that this was not the case, the Telegraaf reports.

Sources told regional newspaper 1Limburg that tensions were high in the asylum center all day and that a man with a firearm threatened to shoot people. According to the police, this is not what happened and there was no question of a hostage situation.

The police arrested 12 football supporters at Roosendaal station during the early hours of Monday morning for damaging the train they were on in multiple ways.

The police received a report about the troublesome football fans around 00:20 a.m., NU.nl reports. Officers responded to Roosendaal station, and when the train arrived, removed the football supporters from the train one by one. 

The suspects are between the ages of 17 and 21 years. They were arrested and taken to a police station. The police did not mention which football team the suspects support.

At least 37 people were arrested around the KNVB cup final between Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar in Rotterdam's De Kuip stadium on Sunday. Feyenoord won the match 3-0. Football supporters damaged multiple trains heading towards Rotterdam, ProRail reports.

A 35-year-old man was arrested in Amersfoort on Sunday night after he threw his bicycle at a passing ambulance and then assaulted the driver, ANP reports.

The incident happened on Utrechtseweg. The man threw a bicycle at a passing ambulance, hitting it. The paramedics stopped, thinking that they hit someone. When the driver opened his door, the man again threw the bicycle at the ambulance. When the driver approached him, he punched the driver in the face.

Clothing brand Suitsupply's new ad campaign is not being warmly accepted in the Netherlands. The campaign consists of posters in bus shelters and billboards showing two being affectionate with each other. Over 30 were broken and dozens of others were taped shut or covered in graffiti across the country over the past days, CEO Fokke de Jong confirmed to NU.nl.

Kosher restaurant Ha Carmel on Amstelveenseweg in Amsterdam was again vandalized. The restaurant owners arrived on Friday morning to find a massive star of cracks on one of the windows. The police believe something was thrown at it, Het Parool reports.

The police are currently doing a forensic investigation at the restaurant.

A man seriously injured himself when he wanted to express his dissatisfaction about an Amsterdam sex worker by breaking the window of a brothel in the Red Light District during the early hours of Sunday morning, AT5 reports.

The man sustained some sever cuts on his back and had to be taken to hospital, where he received multiple sutures, according to the broadcaster.

After treatment, he was arrested and spent the rest of the night in a cell.

The Public Prosecutor demanded 200 hours of community service against two men and a woman suspected of attacking a mosque in Dordrecht in 2016. Should they fail to do their community service, they should go to jail for 100 hours, the Prosecutor demanded, RTL Nieuws reports.

A group of 15 people vandalized the mosque on June 23rd, 2016, after a Kursidh family in the Wielwijk neighborhood was threatened. The family hung a Kurdish flag outside their house for a short time after their daughter passed her final exams. They were threatened, and a stone was thrown through their window.

The police evacuated an international train at the station in Wierden, Overijssel on Monday after an aggressive passenger started breaking the train's windows. The man was arrested on the train, ANP reports.

According to NS, the train was on its way from Berlin to Amsterdam. "The man broke a number of the train's windows", a spokesperson for the Dutch rail company said to the news wire. 

Evacuated passengers completed their journey on another train. The damaged train was driven to a location where its windows can be repaired without passengers.
