Man found dead with multiple injuries in alley in Maassluis
On Saturday morning, a dead man was found in an alley near Asserdreef and Tinbergendreef in Maassluis. The police assume that the man died as a result of a crime, as he had multiple injuries when he was found. The identity of the victim has not yet been released. It is still unclear what happened, at what time, and whether the place where the man was found is also the place where the crime took place, the police report.

The emergency services received a report at around 8:10 a.m. and a short time later they found the deceased in an alley near Tinbergendreef and Asserdreef. However, all help was in vain. As the man had several injuries, an investigation was immediately launched. The police talked to local residents and CCTV footage was analyzed.

The forensic investigation service examined the evidence at the scene on Saturday. No one has been arrested yet. The police are asking witnesses to come forward.
