Fitness instructors and shoemakers are most likely to find a new job in current market

Job seekers have a better chance of finding a job as a fitness instructor, travel advisor, shoemaker, or teacher of geography or social studies. According to benefits agency UWV, these are the most promising positions for people searching for a job this year. Lawyers, hydrologists, and water management advisors are also highly sought after.

According to the UWV, the pressure on the job market decreased slightly in the first quarter of the year. However, the labor market is still tight, as there are still more vacancies than unemployed people in the country.

The UWV keeps lists of jobs with good and less good opportunities. According to the organization, sales employees of household and gift items have less chance of finding a job due to the number of bankruptcies in the retail industry.

“But most professions on the list have been promising for years,” said UWV labor market advisor Stef Molleman. “We expect many of these jobs to stay that way due to significant changes and social challenges we face. This mainly includes jobs in care, education, and IT sectors.”
