Anti-Covid rules protesters harassed people waiting at Eindhoven test center

People waiting in line at the GGD Covid-19 testing center in Eindhoven were harassed by two activists who disagree with the Dutch government's coronavirus policy, Carmy Bronneberg of health service GGD Brabant-Zuidoost confirmed to Eindhovens Dagblad.

"These people were at the fence at the test center. They briefly shouted at an anti-testing message at a number of people in line. They also took a picture of a care in the test queue. When our employees tried to talk to them, they ran away," Bronneberg said.

According to Bronnenberg, this incident happened at the test center on Antoon Coolenlaan on September 17. The GGD informed the police about the situation, but did not press charges. "It has been agreed with the police that we will report immediately if such an incident happens again."

"Of course we find it annoying. It hinders the work of our employees, but we find it especially annoying for the people in the test queue," Bronnenberg said.

A spokesperson for the national GGD told Eindhovens Dagblad that no similar incidents have been reported at other test centers in the country.
