Toddler attacked in random beating on Eindhoven bus

A toddler was beaten in a seemingly random attack on a bus in Eindhoven two weeks ago, the police write on Facebook. A witness reported the incident. The police are examining footage of the incident and are looking for more witnesses.

According to the police, the incident happened on June 17th at around 7:45 p.m. on a line 4 bus traveling from the Eindhoven station to Heesterakker.

According to Omroep Brabant, a previous police Facebook post spoke about a family - man, woman and two children. The now removed Facebook post stated that the child was beaten by the woman, presumably the mother. The other passengers and bus driver were quite shocked by the incident. It is believed that the family lives in the Vaartbroek area.

The police are investigating exactly what happened and are looking for the man and woman, presumably the child's parents. Investigators also want to talk to anyone who saw the incident or knows more about what happened.
