Police remind postcode lotto winners to lock doors when going to party

The police reminds winners of the Postcode Lottery in the Hague neighborhood Bohemen to lock their doors and windows if they are going to the neighborhood party on Friday. Burglars may take advantage of the fact that no one is home.

"Prevent the burglar from also getting prizes", a neighborhood police officer wrote on Twitter.

The lotto party will be in Zandvoortselaan on Friday afternoon, according to Omroep West. Lottery participants in postcode 2555 will then hear how much exactly they won. Each will get a share of 24.95 million euros, half of the total 49.9 million euros in prize money.

The other half is going to people living in postcode area 2555 VX - an apartment building on Donker Curtiusstraat.
