Ferris wheel on Scheveningen Pier opens today

The Ferris wheel on the Scheveningen Pier opened today. From 10:00 a.m. visitors can ride the 50 meter high wheel in one of its 36 gondolas, admiring vies of the North Sea, the beach and The Hague, ANP reports. The Scheveningen Pier reopened to the public on July 18th last year, after a period of decline, a restart and a complete renovation. According to the initiators behind the Ferris wheel, it is the first Ferris wheel over the sea in Europe.
