Harmony of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world, arrived in the port of Rotterdam on Tuesday morning.
The ship is five times larger than the Titanic with a volume of 227 thousand tonnes, according to ANP. The total construction costs of the vessel amounted to 1 billion euros. The 70 meter vessel has 18 decks and can carry nearly 8 thousand people. The ships total floor area is about the size of 84 football fields.
The cruise ship is equipped with a massive water slide, a 43 meter high climbing wall and an ice rink.
The Harmony of the Seas, which belongs to the company Royal Caribbean International, left Saint-Nazaire in France on Pentecost Sunday.
