Three Dutch killed in Lanzarote, Spain traffic accidents
Three Dutch people were killed in traffic accidents on the Spanish holiday island of Lanzarote this past week. The latest victim is a 68-year-old woman from Veldhoven, Omroep Brabant reports.
The Dutch woman was hit by a bus near the village of Guatiza. The cause of the accident is still unknown. According to the broadcaster, the woman and her partner were holidaying on the island to celebrate 25 years of knowing each other.
On Thursday a couple from Bergeijk was also killed in a road accident on the island. They were hit by a drunk Italian motorist while crossing the street at a zebra crossing.
