Pokemon theme song sneaks into Netherlands Top 2000 countdown

Utrecht man Wisse ten Bosh managed to sneak the Pokemon theme song into NPO Radio 2's Top 2000 countdown. In mid-October Ten Bosch created a Facebook page with the sole mission to get Gotta Catch 'Em All by Jason Paige onto the Top 2000 list. He felt it a tragedy that the song never made it onto the list, despite the fact that "the first notes causes feelings of nostalgia and happiness for an entire generation". His mission was successful. Some 58 thousand people helped get the song debuting on the list. What number the song reached is not clear yet, according to NU. The Top 2000 website currently only shows which songs made the list, but not which positions they reached. Those announcements starts from Wednesday.
