Crime blogger’s house, car shot at in possible retaliation

Crime blogger Martin Kok's house and car were the victims of a shooting in Amsterdam Osdorp on Monday night. He believes the shooting was in retaliation of him posting photos of Willem Holleeder having dinner with a number of underworld figures on his website earlier on Monday, the Telegraaf reports. The photos of Holleeder were taken earlier this year in Amsterdam-Zuid, according to the newspaper. Kok spent years in prison for two murders. After his release he launched the website Vlinderscrime.nl, on which he writes news about the underworld. According to the newspaper, Kok has been in various conflicts with underworld figures who believes him a traitor for revealing information on his site. Kok himself posted photos of the bullet holes in his house on his website. He states that he was sleeping at the time of the shooting and only noticed that something was wrong on Tuesday morning.
