Video: Taiwanese animators release Thalys attack reconstruction

YouTube channel Taiwanese Animators has posted an animated recreation of the events during the attack on the Thalys train between Amsterdam and Paris on Friday. The animators are normally known for creating satirical animations about world events. Suspect Ayoub el Khazzani boarded the train in Brussels carrying a number of weapons, including a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a handgun and a box cutter. He shot one passenger in the neck when the man confronted him. Four other passengers, Americans Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos and Spencer stone and British man Chris Norman managed to overpower El Khazzani and prevent a bloodbath. Stone sustained several stab wounds during the struggle. The intense 3D reconstruction shows El Khazzani shooting a passenger in the neck and the passengers overpowering him. Chris Norman, who tied El Khazzanni up with his neck tie, is not shown in the video.
