Single arsonist sought in 25 Tilburg car fires

The police believe that the recent string of car fires in Tilburg may be the work of a single arsonist. A spokesperson told Omroep Brabant that they are investigating the possibility after another car went up in flames in the city on Thursday night. Since the beginning of this year there has been a total of 25 car fires in Tilburg. Some of them may have been accidents or bad luck, but in most cases there are signs that arson may have been involved. The police initially stopped looking into whether these car fires were connected, as experts found no evidence to suggest that. But according to the police spokesperson, the most recent fires have caused them to look into the possibility again.
