Public cautioned against "extremely dangerous" illegal firework

The police has issued a warning about the firecracker Cobra 6 2G with a German inscription. This particular type of Cobra is extremely dangerous and even more unstable than other Cobras or other illegal fireworks. In about 1 out of 5 of the 30 investigated Cobra 6 2G's, the wick stopped burning just above the cap. The risk is that this particular type of Cobra may explode after some time. If someone tries to relight the short fuse, the firecracker could explode so quickly that there will be no time to get to a safe distance. This could result in serious injury.
