Crying, drunk burglar calls police on himself

On Friday morning, September 26th, the police received a strange call from a crying, drunk burglar turning himself in. The 60 year old man from Duiven smashed the window of a building on Stationsweg in Alkmaar. The suspect entered the premises, but could not manage to find his way out again. So he called the police and announced that he was stuck in the building. Police officers helped the man out of the building and then arrested him. They are currently investigating the matter.
