Ebay pulls amputee's Leg Lamp auction

Leo Bonten, the man who had a lamp made from his amputated leg, can no longer sell his leg lamp on eBay. After his amputation Bonten could not bring himself to say goodbye to his leg and decided to have it turned into a lamp. Lamp maker Willem Schäperkötter and pathologist Frank van de Goot helped him realize his dream for free. Due to financial need Bonten decided to sell his leg lamp. He put an advertisement on eBay, listing the price for the leg lamp as 100 thousand euro. The sale of human remains is against eBay's rules, and therefore the ad has been removed.
