Theatre fest finds counterfeit money

At Theater Festival Boulevard Den Bosch, an "organized group of criminals" has been actively funneling false €50 notes through the restaurants and tents at the festival, the organizers tell Omroep Brabant. The police have been notified of this incident, and the restaurants and other merchants at the festival have been fitted out with false money detectors. The organizers say that they do have a suspect. Because of the quality of the fake money and the mass quantity of fake cash found makes police believe that this is about several culprits. Theater Festival Boulevard takes place in Den Bosch from the 7th to the 17th of August, and is about theater, music, dance and moving art. The festival is currently the biggest artistic breeding ground of South-Netherlands, Omroep Brabant writes.
