Two boys killed in quad crash
Police in Andijk are investigating an accident with a quad Sunday morning that has claimed the lives of two boys.
The accident happened around 2.00am. Authorities suspect that the driver of the vehicle lost control over the steering while riding with a passenger at Horn. The young victims, aged 17 and 18, skidded out of a corner and crashed into a bridge. Their names have not been released. There were apparently no witnesses. One of the boys was found by a passerby, lying on the ground, and police at first thought there had only been one victim, until the other boy's body was found in the water. Tracks on the scene of the accident suggest that the boys had probably made several rounds on the quad before the accident. Police have asked anybody with information on the accident to come forward.
