Elderly couple stabbed to death

Two people died last night from stab wounds in Middenbeemster in Noord Holland.

The bodies of the elderly couple -75-year-old Jan Winkelhuizen and his 68-years-old wife) were found in their house at Leeghwaterstraat around 10.45pm. They were found by the grandson. The elderly couple had been stabbed to death. Police say they have no leads in the case, but are considering all options. Witnesses have been asked to come forth.
