Fake doctor caught; gave false breast cancer diagnosis

A fake doctor by the name of Fred B. was apprehended in Huissen this morning. Police are still investigating him and his clinic, the Medisch Center Sanit, according to sources from Omroep Gelderland. The Public Prosecution Authority (OM) say that the man is 52 years of age, and is suspected of practicing medicine without a license. In February, the OM reported that an investigation would be launched after complaints about the fake doctor. In one case, Fred B. diagnosed a woman with cancer, when this was entirely untrue. He sent her to China for an operation, for €60,000. Victims and ex-staff members say they are happy that B. has been caught. They now hope that it also mean he can be stopped definitively.
