St. Maarten man found dead in R’dam harbor

The body of a man that was found floating in Schiehaven in Rotterdam has turned out to be that of 22-year-old St. Maarten native Jahbal Flanders. Flanders was reported missing since December 29^th. His body was found floating near the replica of “De Delft”, the historic 17^th century warship that is being built in the harbor. Police have not yet determined his cause of death. Sources on St. Maarten, a Dutch Caribbean island nation, have said Jahbal’s passing has left his family devastated. The young man had relocated to the Netherlands a few years ago, where he studied and dabbled in music.
