VVD chairman Korthals to leave

Benk Korthals is stepping down as chairman of VVD in in May 2014. Korthals has been party chairman since May 2011, Nos reports. He was very concerned about the integrity, and proposed all politicians to sign a statement of integrity. Korthals is in politics since 1982. He served as justice minister and as defence minister.
