Netherlands Taking Russia To International Court
The Netherlands has decided to take Russia to court over Greenpeace ship matter.
The Dutch government is trying to release the Arctic Sunrise and its crew. The government’s representatives will go to an international maritime court, Sky News reports.
The Greenpeace ship, sailing under the Dutch flag, was seized by Russian security forces in September after a protest near an arctic oil rig.
The crew, including two Dutch, was arrested at gunpoint and taken to a pre-trial detention centre in Murmansk. Then they were transferred to a prison in St. Petersburg.

But Russia declined to take part in a hearing, and said it does not accept decisions that concern its national sovereignty. According to the tribunal's website, it has no means to enforce its decisions.
