US Archiv ARCWEB The presentation was intended to gain political support and to appeal to potential investors. The Provincial Council, who is required to invest millions in the project, will soon decide on the museum. The council of Nijmegen also needs to come to a decision. The museum is to be housed in a vacant factory building on the Waal, where the American liberators entered Nijmegen in 1944. If all goes according to plan, the museum should open to the public in 2015, according to the promoters.
