Again gay violence in Vondelpark
Another serious assault occurred in the Vondelpark on Sunday October 20. The incident happened at the meeting place for men in the rose garden, reported the police.A 45-year-old man sustained a serious head injury. The victim was looking for sex and made contact with two men Sunday night . Afterwards one of the two men suddenly asked for money. When the victim refused to pay, the suspects assaulted him.

Also one of the suspects wore black shoes with fluorescent green accents. On September 15, there was another serious violent incident in the Vondelpark, involving a 55-year-old man, who was stabbed fifteen times in the face, hands and back. At the moment the crimes don't appear to be connected, according to the police.
