Kids Pick Flowers: Grandma Fined 130 Euro

A grandmother of two kids, aged 5 and 3, received a fine of 130 euro from two city guards because the children were picking some daffodils. The toddlers were picking the flowers for their mother in a field in the Segbroek district in The Hague. The city guards asked their grandmother if she knew to whom the flowers belonged. The grandmother answered that they were for all of us. RTL.nl reported that because the children had caused damage to the park, the grandmother received a fine. The children also had to hand in the flowers. The municipality has not reacted on the case yet.
