Man arrested after violent home invasions, Sint-Michielsgestel attacks on woman and dog

On Tuesday afternoon, police arrested a 28-year-old man after a series of violent incidents in Sint-Michielsgestel in which he entered multiple homes, assaulted a woman and her dog, choked a woman, and damaged property inside a residence.

Police said they acted on the reports of a man displaying what they described as “unusual behavior.” A police spokesperson confirmed the arrest following reporting by Omroep Brabant. The man’s place of residence is unknown to the police.

The first incident occurred on Asterstraat, where the man attacked a woman and her dog. After releasing her, he continued on to another address.

He then entered a home on Anjerstraat, where he threatened the resident, destroyed her belongings, and choked her during the confrontation, police reported.
