New week starts stormy, later calm autumn weather
With precipitation in many places and locally strong winds, the coming week will start stormy. The weather will change somewhat in the days after Monday. According to Weeronline, calm autumn weather is expected for the rest of the week, with the chance of showers decreasing significantly.
The rain showers that will hit the Netherlands during the night between Sunday and Monday could cause a lot of rain during the morning rush hour, especially in the areas along the west coast. There will also be strong winds. According to the weather service, wind forces of 6 or 7 are possible at times. However, it will clear up for the most part during the day.
On Tuesday, fewer showers are expected, and there will be more room for sunshine. The forecast for precipitation on Wednesday remains very uncertain, according to the weather service. Thursday will remain dry in most parts of the country.
During the week, the temperature will also gradually drop. While an average of 13 degrees is still expected for Monday, the maximum temperature on Thursday will drop to between 7 and 11 degrees. It will not get colder than 10 degrees at the weekend, although the likelihood of precipitation will increase again from then on.
