What are the benefits of sim only with unlimited data?

Are you still satisfied with your current smartphone? In this case, you will not have to buy one, but you might have to get a new contract so you can still call and text your relatives and friends. In this situation, sim only is likely the best option. Here, you can choose a plan with unlimited data. This essentially means that you can use internet as much as you want even when you do not have a Wi-Fi connection. Below you can find the advantages of sim only plans with unlimited data.

Internet anywhere and everywhere

A big advantage of sim only with unlimited data is that it offers you the possibility to literally use internet anywhere and everywhere. On top of that, you will not have to worry about using too much data, since that is in essence impossible when having sim only with unlimited data. However, even though it is called unlimited data, it usually is not actually "unlimited". Take this into account when looking at sim only, but also when you actually make use of your new contract. Thankfully the amount of data you can use is usually very high, so you should not worry too much about going over the limit. This is another benefit of sim only with unlimited data actually, since you will not have the costs which you will usually have if you use too much data.

Great alternative for Wi-Fi

With unlimited 4G internet you have a great alternative to Wi-Fi. Do you have a malfunction at home and the Wi-Fi does not work? No problem, because you can use your unlimited internet sim only subscription. This can also be handy if your Wi-Fi connection at home is not that good because you live in an area where this network simply is not the best. In some instances this will be extremely annoying, but you can just switch to your unlimited data contract which will likely be much better. This can be useful too in an office if the Wi-Fi does not work anymore for example. You can just turn on the hotspot on your smartphone so you can still use the internet on your computer or laptop.

Work in a flexible way

This benefit of sim only with unlimited data is closely connected to the other two advantages that have already been mentioned. By getting a subscription that essentially offers you unlimited data, you can use internet anywhere and everywhere, even if you are not connected to Wi-Fi. Because of this, you are able to work in a flexible way. After all, you will no longer need to be close to a Wi-Fi network in order to use the internet. Therefore, you can just sit anywhere you want with your laptop, which will have to be connected to the hotspot on your smartphone in order to use the internet. This is especially nice in the summer, when you can work in a park for example.
