US wants to strengthen ties with the Netherlands
The US secretary of state, Antony Blinken has stated in a talk with Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, Stef Blok, that the United States wants to intensify the relationship between the two countries.
According to the US state department, Blinken and Blok underlined their “shared values” and agreed to work together on key global challenges, particularly focusing on Russia, China and Iran.
Both parties also stressed the importance of working together to ensure “transatlantic unity and security."
During the conversation, Blinken also thanked the Netherlands for organizing a recent climate summit and underlined the United States' effort to combat climate change.
