Man, 50, dies at Eindhoven dance festival

A 50-year-old man from Eindhoven died on Saturday after a visit to the DayDream dance festival at Aquabest in the Noord-Brabant city. The man became unwell at around 6:30 p.m. The festival's first aid team resuscitated him and he was rushed to hospital, where he died later that evening, the organization of the festival said to AD.

"It is very intense that this happened", Geertje van Zoggel of festival organizer Par-t said to the newspaper. "The emergency services responded quickly, but to no avail." She realizes that because this happened at a festival, people immediately think of an accident with drugs. "The first information we have is that it probably has nothing to do with it. It is especially very sad for those involved."

The preliminary police investigation did not show any indications that a crime was committed, according to the newspaper.
