Rotterdam suspects arrested for three abductions

The police arrested two men in Rotterdam on suspicion of involvement in three abductions. The victims have been released and were brought to safety, NOS reports.

On Tuesday evening the police raided a home on Amperestraat in Schiedam. The house came into the picture during an investigation into three abductions. Nobody was found in the house. A forensic investigation was done in the home on Wednesday.

Two men, a 23-year-old from Rotterdam and a 27-year-old with no fixed place of residence, were arrested in connection with the case.

As the investigation is still ongoing, the police did not want to say anything about the background of the abductions. When and where the victims were kidnapped is also unclear.

Sources told NOS that it involves hostage taking in the criminal circuit, and the forensic investigation at the home on Amperestraad had to do with these abductions.
