Child's head bashed into car after water balloon prank

A 13-year-old boy was assaulted by a man in Amsterdam earlier this month after the boy threw water balloons. The police are looking for witnesses, NOS reports.

The assault happened on Tuesday, May 8th at around 3:00 p.m. The boy and some friends were throwing water balloons at passing boats from Stadionkade in Amsterdam. One man became angry, turned around, docked his boat and chased after the boys.

He caught up to one of the boys on Rubensstraat. He grabbed the boy by the throat and bashed his head into a car multiple times. He then threw the boy to the ground and dealt a few more punches.

The police are looking for witnesses.
