Dutch politician accused of hacking over 100 women: report
Mitchel van der K., a local VVD politician from Almere and former editor for men's website Manners, hacked over 100 women, including vlogger Laura Ponticorvo and some of his colleagues, RTL Nieuws reports based on anonymous sources.
Several women filed charges with the police. According to the broadcaster, Van der K. looked for passwords on leaked databases and used them to try and break into the women's accounts.
The politician's name came up as a suspect when Ponticovo reported being hacked last year. Van der K. is suspected of stealing photos and videos showing her performing various sexual acts. Manners dismissed Van der K. when his suspected involvement in this crime was revealed, according to the broadcaster.
